I have a story to share with you about how your company culture can help you attract new talent.

One of our clients, who owns a manufacturing company, has been dealing with a shortage of quality labour for a long time. They searched, they published advertisements, but they did not succeed. They attracted only a few applicants on the market, so instead of selecting, they always end up recruiting.

This, of course, caused compromises in the quality of the people hired. The turnover was high and the atmosphere in the company, where you are always training someone and they leave, became tough.

Our recommendation was to start working on internal PR, improving relationships at the workplace and start presenting their company and team on social networks. People are selective these days and want to be sure that changing jobs will be beneficial.

And the result?

The company began to clearly communicate their purpose, how their team work, why the company is on the market and how it is beneficial for its customers. They also used various thank-you letters from customers, photos from their manufactured products, etc.

This step was an extra tool that helped the company attract more candidates and have more options. As we say, good outflow = good inflow.

Of course without getting the foundation of the hiring right, and ensuring your ads are promoting challenge, not benefits and conditions, the above promotions will not work as well.
